Part of the Retired Greyhound Trust Registered Charity No 269668

250 Club overview

Purpose
The purpose of this Club is to get 250 like-minded people to make a charitable donation of £1 each week and each week there will be a prize of 50% of the donations. The other 50% will be used to provide accommodation in local kennels for rescued retired greyhounds whilst the Branch finds them homes. The target of this 250 Club, is to fund kennelling for up to 6 dogs. This will make a big difference in the Branch's ability to find more homes for retired greyhounds. The dogs that this Club helps save and home will be shown on the Branch's website www.rgtnottingham.org.uk

We have rented kennels at Rainworth. There is no shortage of dogs, so all we need is more Club members to be able to sustain the operation and take more dogs.

This is how the Club will work and the Application Form is attached. How it works

Each member chooses two numbers, one between 1 and 49 and the other from 1,2,4,5 or 6.

The winning combination of the two numbers will be the bonus number on the main National Lottery drawn every Saturday evening, 1 to 49, and the winning dog of the last race on the same Saturday at the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium, numbers 1,2,4,5 or 6.

Trap 3 is not always used so is not included in the available number combinations. If Trap 3 wins then this is treated as a rollover week.
The winning Club member will be notified and sent a cheque. There will be no need to claim.

Winning numbers and the name of the lucky winning member will be displayed each week on the Branch's website.

Initially, members will be able to choose their combination of numbers but on a "first come first served" basis. If no one has the winning combination this will be a rollover week.

Joining Members need to complete the Application Form that includes a Standing Order Bank Mandate and a Gift Aid Declaration. This should be returned to the Club Administrator who will take care of everything, including sending the form to your bank and confirming your membership and your numbers.

Thank you for helping us find homes for more retired greyhounds
