On the A614, 10 miles north of Nottingham before Ollerton. Meet in the car park to the left of the pay kiosk for a walk through the woods and round the lake. Car parking charges may apply. Please see Past Events 2012 |

Walk Bestwood Country Park |
A611 Hucknall Road from Nottingham. Take the B683 for Bestwood Village (this is Bestwood Road which as you enter the village becomes Moor Road). After about 7 “humps” turn right into Park Road (Bestwood Social Club on the corner). Meet in the car park (free) on the right hand side after the Bestwood Hotel. Meet and Greet Dove Valley Community Project Traditional |
Opening time from 1.00 pm. This will be our fourth year at this event which is always well attended with plenty of fun and games for kids including a superb duck race on the river Dove.This year there will be a fun dog show to add to the attractions. Please come along with your hounds and support us. If you are thinking of adopting a greyhound come and have a chat and meet some. Please see Past Events 2012 |

On the A60 on the right just after Ravenshead travelling towards Mansfield. Meet at the car park to the right, not at the coffee shop car park, for a walk through the pine forest. Coffee and gift shop. |

Walk Burnt Stump |
Take the A60 from Nottingham to Mansfield. At roundabout for the A614 follow the A60 for about 3 miles. At traffic lights (7 mile house on left) turn right into Burnt Stump Hill. Pub about ½ mile on right. Meet in the left hand side of the car park. Pub will be open at 11:15 for us. Dogs will not be allowed inside, but refreshments will be served and there is plenty of seating area. |

Opens at 12 noon Plenty of attractions for all family members, we will be there with our stand. All hounds are welcome, the more we have the better, the kids from the school love to see them. |

Meet and Greet Hoar Cross Nursing Home Gala Day |
Open from 2pm until 4.30pm, this will be a typical English summer fete and is usually very well attended with lots of things going on for people of all ages. We hope some of our local adopters will join us with their hounds at our stall. |

Meet and Greet (with a Christmas theme!) Park Farm Shopping Centre |
10 am to 3pm (finish time dependent on weather) Come and join our Christmas Meet and Greet. If you are a prospective adopter and wish to meet one of our lovely hounds, or ask any questions about how Greyhounds make wonderful pets, then please come along and say hello. |
Events and Walks
There's usually a walk on the last Sunday of each month.
We advise you not to travel with your dogs in hot weather, if you have a distance to travel or your dogs have recently been ill. If you require any further information please contact the enquiry line.
Walks start at 10:30am.
Duration of walks will be between 30–45 minutes. All dogs to be on the lead and please scoop the poop.
All merchandise sales help branch funds and if you would like any items bringing along to any event then please telephone one of the volunteers or ring the enquiry line.
