Sunday 1st January -- Rufford Walk |

Sunday 29th January -- Wollaton Walk Some hardy greyhounds and their owners joined us for the walk round Wollaton Park lake and back past the hall to the courtyard for refreshments. |
|
Sunday 26th February -- Shipley Park Walk Greyhounds and owners enjoyed their walk on this lovely sunny day (made a stark contrast to the awful weather conditions the year before). The walk was well supported with about 50 dogs (a few other types also came along and were made very welcome!), and there were well earned refreshments at the end.

Saturday 10th March -- Pets at Home, Netherfield The RGT spent a very enjoyable day at Pets at Home in Netherfield. The store was very busy with lots of youngsters meeting greyhounds for the first time. The stars of the day were Billy, Flick, Bale, Pebbles, Storm, Barney, Zoe, Oscar and Merry. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event at which we sold £34.50 in merchandise and received £107 in donations. |

Sunday 29th April -- Bestwood Country Park Although a very wet, windy and cold day several dogs and their owners, as you will see from the photo appropriately dressed, turned out for the monthly walk at Bestwood Country Park. Much to the relief of the dogs the walk was shortened, but there was an unexpected bonus when at the end of the walk owners were asked if they would like to also have a tour of the recently restored winding engine house. Merry, Crusty and Oscar also enjoyed their tour, and even braved travelling on the lift to the second floor! |

Monday 7th May -- Hatton Fete This was our fourth year at this event and the attendance was down on previous years due to weather conditions. The weather was not quite as bad as forecast and our stand was again well visited, we raised over £73 in RGT merchandise sales, craft sales and donations. We had several visitors who wanted to know more about adopting retired greyhounds and went away to give adoption some consideration. Many thanks once again to Lynne Saul for inviting us to participate at this event, and special thanks go to Lucy, Polly, Logan, Millie, George, Lulu, Abbie and Oscar who were our volunteer Greyhounds on the stall. |
