These are some of the super dogs who need a home

Greyhounds become available all the time, at kennels scattered over a wide area, so it takes a while to get photos and details. We have lots of dogs on the list waiting for homes just at the moment, but no picture yet. If you don't see a dog who seems suitable, please get in touch anyway, we may have just the one for you!

Oscar
Oscar is just 2 yrs old and is full of life. He is a very happy dog who never stops wagging his tail and thinks everything in life is great. He can be inquisitive and excitable when first going out for a walk but settles down after a few minutes. Oscar will be a lovely fun dog to own.

JJ
JJ is a very handsome 2 year old medium size boy. He can pull slightly on the lead but with regular walks he will be easy to train out of this. For his age JJ is a very sensible dog. JJ responds well to human presence and will make a great companion.

Moon
Moon is a small girl who is almost 5 years old. She is very sweet natured and loves to be around people. Moon is quite strong on the lead so will need some training,but this should be easily resolved.She is a sociable girl and will make a lovely pet.

Gizmo
Gizmo is a petite 2 year old girl who would suit a calm home, she can be quite shy until she gets to know you, and needs someone/a family that will build her confidence. She is very food orientated which will help with training. Gizmo walks nicely on the lead and with a bit of time and TLC will make a lovely pet.

Jack
3 year old Jack has the makings of a very handsome dog, his appearance has improved considerably while he has been in our care and will continue to improve with a little TLC. Jack is very easy to walk on the lead but seems to lack confidence in some situations.With a good home Jack will be a super pet.

Maizie
Maizie is a very confident, very distinctive 3 year old black and white young lady. She is very friendly with people and appears to be used to walking on the lead. Maizie is full of potential and should make a cracking pet for some lucky home.

Sue
This white and black 5 year old will need some training as she pulls on the lead when first going out for a walk. Pulling on the lead can usually be sorted out quite easily with regular walks and consistent training so this shouldn't put you off this very friendly greyhound who just wants the chance to retire to a good home.

Sylvie
Not yet 2 years old so white and blue Sylvie has a lot of fun and love to give to the right home. Sylvie has not found her position in life yet and is a little nervous at times but can also be excitable. We think that she will make a fine companion when settled in to her forever family.

Rooney
Rooney is 6 years old and is of average size for a male. He enjoys being around people and loves going for walks although he can pull a little on the lead so will need some training.

Hondie
Hondie is a 6 year old girl. She is a lively girl in the kennels, and likes to play. She generally walks well on the lead, and is an affectionate girl. Hondie will need some training with unfamiliar noises and situations.

Maisy
Maisy is 8 years old. She likes to go for walks and is generally quite well behaved on the lead. Maisy gets a bit frightened by younger children so would be looking for a home with older or no children.

Sophie
Sophie is a lovely, sweet 4 year old girl who will make a great companion. She pulls a little bit on the lead at first but soon settles down so will be easy to train out of this. We think she will very quickly settle into home life.

Diamond
Diamond is 9 and a half years old. He is a large old boy, who is calm and walks nicely on the lead. When Diamond is out for a walk he is alert to what is going on around him as he is trying to make sense of the world outside of the kennels.

Diamond has an adorable sweet nature, with a gentle disposition, and needs a special home as he can be a bit shy. He requires a quiet home with people who will be patient with him and help build his confidence with unfamiliar noises and situations. Diamond has been in kennels for many years, and at his age really deserves to be in a loving home. He will make a fabulous companion dog.

Sunny--Homed
If you are looking for a very large, young, handsome, gentle giant then Sunny ticks all these boxes. He is a very happy 2 year old dog who enjoys being with people and will walk pleasantly beside you.

Lester-Homed
Lester is a friendly and loveable 6 year old boy who would prefer to be rehomed on his own, he does however get on OK with other dogs. He walks nicely on the lead and would suit a family with older children. Lester will make a great companion.

Layla
Layla is a two year old medium size young lady who has recently been put up for homing. Taking Layla for a walk is a very pleasant experience as she is very affectionate, behaves very nicely on the lead and is interested in everything around her. We think that she will make a lovely pet.

Gale
Gale is a lovely natured 5 year old girl. She gets on well with other dogs, her trainer describes her as "perfect", so we hope she will make a perfect companion.
